The Mt. Shasta Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Improvement project consisted of construction of a new state mandated filtration and disinfection facility on the existing water treatment site.

Clark Bros Inc. scope of services included the construction of new headworks screen, influent pipeline, Aero-Mod Activated sludge treatment process, disk cloth filtration, closed- vessel UV disinfection, sludge dewatering facility, filter, and UV building, return pump station and control and blower building.

The new facility has the capacity to treat 3.6 million gallons per day.
