Talent Development and Recruiting Manager


Overview:

The Talent Development and Recruiting Manager is an executive role responsible for building programs, processes and tools supporting all employees’ growth, while driving the organization’s goals and objectives. This role will focus on improving corporate learning objectives and career development for current and future leaders within the team. The program is in skeletal form and will need a creative self-starting leader to build an entire program. The overall objective is to create a construction company that focuses tremendous energy on the education of its team.

Location:

745 Broadway St. Fresno, CA 93721, with occasional travel to project sites as needed

PAY:

$85,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

DUTIES:

• Design, develop and implement training programs focused on key areas of the business.

• Coordinating and managing all program logistics, tracking results and serving as a subject matter expert in adult learning and development, organizational development and organizational effectiveness

• Monitor, measure, evaluate and report on program effectiveness, training program content and participant satisfaction.

• Monitor costs, schedule classes, set up systems and equipment and coordinate enrollment

• Understand areas of corporate weaknesses and strengths in both technical training and EI.

• Partner with Business Leaders and serve as a subject matter expert regarding areas of learning, development, training and leadership coaching.

• Responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of an integrated talent management & recruiting program.

• Supervise day-to-day activities of recruiting, including involvement in interviewing and hiring.

• Determine offer outcomes for Organization based on Recruitment criteria

• Assist in implementing screening and selection criteria for departmental staff in recruitment team

• Monitor the outcome of recruitment trips by ensuring attendees are moving through the selection process in a timely manner

SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development or related area required

• Experience in heavy civil construction is preferable.

• Minimum 5 years in training and development of all areas of the business

• Strong ability to lead and apply organizational and change theories

• Excellent facilitation and public speaking skills

• Reputation for sound values, vision and integrity

• Ability to act as a managerial advisor on professional and technical issues
